J-MAR Metal Company has built on a tradition of providing high quality, competitive pricing and professional services. For more than 50 years, customers locally and throughout the country have depended upon J-MAR for the best, expertly crafted workbenches and shop equipment in the marketplace.

J-MAR Metal Fabrication Company was started in 1966 by John Marricone as a supplier of workbenches for automotive repair. Through a friendship with Anthony Martino who founded Aamco transmissions, began specializing in heavy duty workbenches designed specifically for the Automotive Transmission Rebuilding & Repair Industry.

J-MAR flourished in the 1970's and 80's as an equipment supplier to Aamco and many of the national transmission rebuilding & repair franchise chains. J-MAR continued to grow, primarily through specialized transmission parts distributors, expanding our product line to include specialty tools and large power spray washers.

During the past 20 years, J-MAR Metal has focused on the automotive equipment by expanding our workbench line to include larger 8ft. and 10ft. benches along with portable carts and specialty tools. Over time, we have earned our reputation for reliability, responsibility and affordability!
